Taryn Surdy MA, LMFT

INDIVIDUAL, FAMILY, COUPLES & GROUP THERAPY

Taryn received her Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Argosy University, Eagan and her Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Minnesota State University, Mankato. Taryn is Neurodivergent and specializes in helping other Neurodiverse individuals/families explore, manage, and understand their diagnosis, struggles, and success.

Taryn has worked with children, adolescents, and adults in outpatient, community, in-home, and school settings. She provides individual, couples, and family therapy services. She operates from a Relational and Systemic focused philosophy that emphasizes building a relationship as the key foundation to successful therapy and that the individual is not the only contribution to the impact on their mental health.

Taryn utilizes an eclectic approach with clients and will choose the approach that best meets the client’s needs. She has experience working with depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, ADHD, PTSD, Autism, cognitive delays, grief/loss, academic/occupational issues, family and relational difficulties. Her specialties are ADHD, Autism, Depression, and social/cultural struggles.

Michael L. Moeller, M.D. received his medical degree from the University of South Dakota Sanford School of Medicine in 1992. Dr. Moeller has provided Psychiatric care for over 30 years. He specializes in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, Geriatric Psychiatry, Psychiatric Evaluations, and Medication Management. Dr. Moeller is affiliated with Mayo Clinic Health System Mankato and Sanford Jackson Medical Center.

Austin earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Winona State University. She has extensive experience working with adolescents and adults who face behavioral and emotional challenges. 

Austin’s approach emphasizes empathy, collaboration, and evidence-based techniques to help clients build resilience and improve their well-being. She believes in creating a safe, nonjudgmental space for individuals to explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences.

Austin aims to empower clients to develop the skills to navigate life's challenges confidently and clearly. Whether it's managing anxiety and depression or navigating major life transitions, she is committed to supporting her clients in reaching their personal and therapeutic goals.
